Panel performance warranty

25 years (Industry standard)
A solar panel’s performance warranty will typically guarantee 90% production at 10 years and 80% at 25 years.

Solar Panel product warranty

5 years – 10 years depending on brand
The product warranty is to cover defective materials or workmanship in the manufacture of the Panel. It is provided by the manufacturer of the Panel, not the solar installation company.

Solar Inverter warranty

Usually 5 years (sometimes offered with a 10+ year optional upgrade depending on the manufacturer)
Inverters generally will have a 5 year warranty. Upgrades to 10 years are available with some brands depending on the manufacturer.
